Dagoberto Martinez, M.D., FACOG, FACS Chief Executive Office
A native of Chile, Dr. Dagoberto Martinez earned his medical degree from the University of Chile Medical School in Santiago in 1970. Following his graduation, he completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of West Virginia in Wheeling.
In 1979, Dr. Martinez began practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Brownsville, Texas, where he has since become a respected and established figure in women’s healthcare. He holds dual board certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in Surgery. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.) and the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).
Affectionately known as “Dr. D,” he has long championed professional development and collaborative healthcare. He was among the first in Brownsville to implement the collaborative practice model, working alongside nurse practitioners to deliver holistic care to women.
Dr. Martinez has served in several key leadership roles, including Chief of OB/GYN and Chief of Staff at both Valley Regional Medical Center and Brownsville Medical Center. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Valley Regional Medical Center.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Martinez has volunteered his time and expertise at the Cameron County Maternity Clinic, providing compassionate care to underserved women in the Brownsville community.
Mary Ann Fore, R.N., C.N.M., M.S. Chief Operating Officer
Mary Ann Fore is a proud native of the Rio Grande Valley and a trailblazer in women’s health, having pioneered the role of Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner in Brownsville, Texas. She earned her nursing degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in San Antonio.
Mary Ann began her healthcare career as a school nurse with the Brownsville Independent School District (B.I.S.D.). Driven by a passion for advancing women’s care, she pursued advanced training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she completed the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Program.
Upon returning to Brownsville, she joined Dr. Dagoberto Martinez in a collaborative OB/GYN practice, where she has continued to serve the community with compassion and excellence. Her dedication to clinical excellence led her to pursue graduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery.
With decades of experience, Mary Ann is committed to providing quality, holistic care. She empowers women to take an active role in their health and well-being through education, prevention, and informed decision-making.
Madeleine Corbeil
Born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Madeleine Corbeil brings both cultural understanding and clinical excellence to her role in women’s healthcare. She earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science from The University of Texas at Brownsville and began her nursing career in Labor and Delivery at Valley Regional Medical Center.
Madeleine joined Clinica Santa Maria as a Clinical Coordinator, where her dedication to patient care and leadership quickly stood out. Inspired to deepen her impact, she continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, completing the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Program and becoming certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
She returned to Clinica Santa Maria in an advanced clinical role, now serving as the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Madeleine is especially passionate about maternity and adolescent care. With her strong commitment to health equity and cultural competence, she ensures every patient receives accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Vikki Presas, RNC, BSN, WHNP
Vikki Presas is a National Certification Corporation Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with specialized training from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University and is an active member of professional organizations including the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
With a deep-rooted passion for helping others, Vikki brings both clinical expertise and personal insight to her practice. As a breast cancer survivor and United States Air Force officer and veteran, she understands firsthand the resilience and strength women must often embody. Her personal experiences have deepened her compassion and sharpened her focus on delivering respectful, patient-centered care.
“I went into nursing because I love helping people and I felt that I could make a difference,” Vikki says. “My patients know I truly care. I never rush them—I always give them the time they need.”
She is especially passionate about working with teenagers and young adults. “This group is hungry for knowledge,” she explains. “They deserve accurate information and non-judgmental support so they can make empowered decisions for their future. It’s important to me to listen, educate, and collaborate to build the right care plan together.”

Mariana Obregon, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Mariana Obregon is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health. She earned her degree from the esteemed University of Texas Health Science Center, where she developed advanced nursing skills and a passion for providing top-notch care to women of all ages.
“With a focus on empathy and understanding, I strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for my patients. Whether it’s a Well Woman’s Annual Exam, prenatal care, or addressing specific health concerns, I approach each action holistically with kindness and expertise, keeping my patients in mind. My goal is to empower women to make informed decisions about their health and well-being, guiding them on their journey to optimal health and wellness.”
